Sometimes you just need to take a break. The end of 2014 brought with it change I was not prepared for... change that wasn't a part of my plan or what I had hoped God had for me. There was so much I needed to process that there simply wasn't time for blogging or designing.
There was only time to focus on myself, my new job and my relationship with the Lord. But in that same time period, I was able to invest in myself as an individual and in a new member of my family...
Caswell, my sweet Newfoundland puppy, is a dream I have had for so long but never thought would come true. She is my heart for serving and loving others through her sloppy kisses, adorable fro and approachable nature.

I am training Caswell to be an Assisted Animal Therapy dog. One day she and I will be able to visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools and so much more to visit with people who might be sick or hurting or lonely or even lacking in confidence. Just as she will bring many, many people happiness one day, she gives me purpose and so much unconditional love every day.

As tough as the start of 2015 has been, I know now that it's the moments rather than the days that count. Finding happy moments in every day, is what I strive for and it makes the daunting word of "time" a little less daunting.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..."
Ecclesiastes 3:1
